Foundation

The aim of the foundation is to help the young help the young and it was set up with the support of Virgin Unite and in its formative phase was in discussion with several well-established charities to find the best way to maximise the foundation’s funds.

The Foundation was made possible by the generosity of Sir Richard Branson who donated a week’s holiday on Necker Island and first class travel there and back. Funds raised from an exclusive and limited raffle gave a substantial start to the foundations fundraising.

Trustees

“Sam was an extraordinarily generous hearted individual who always wanted to lift the lives of others. The Sam Griffiths Foundation is a powerful memorial to his life but also a charity which enables other vibrant, good young men and women like Sam to help and support other less fortunate than themselves. For me, the Foundation keeps Sam’s great spirit alive and burning brightly and that is why it has my full and committed support.” Tim Manly
